2017 Wheelbarrow Festival and .5K Race

Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival
Saturday, September 9, 2017
 12 PM - 6 PM

The Reynoldstown Wheelbarrow Festival & .5k Race is a festival thrown by the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League for the community.

This event, now over 20 yrs. old, is Reynoldstown’s largest fundraiser and will include music, yard games, food trucks, kids activities, a tour of homes, and a lantern creation station--and will feature Atlanta’s only .5K road race through the historic streets of Reynoldstown! The event happens to fall on the same day as The Beltline Lantern Parade again this year, which makes for a fun-packed day for kids and adults alike. Last year, neighbors had a wonderful time wrapping up the day’s festivities with this illuminating event on The Beltline Eastside Trail.

The festival beneficiaries include Lang Carson Park upkeep and beautification projects within the neighborhood, community engagement and stewardship priorities for the Reynoldstown Community, along with outreach projects with Friends of Lang Carson Park.
