New Homelessness Prevention Funds for Eligible Atlanta Residents

Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation is now accepting referrals for the Atlanta Rising Prevention Pilot, a three-year homelessness prevention initiative led by Partners for HOME.

The program supports City of Atlanta households at imminent risk of homelessness through financial assistance, supportive services, and legal assistance.

To meet the initial eligibility requirements, households must:

  • Be currently housed and at risk of losing housing within 14 days

  • Live within the City of Atlanta

  • Have a household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income

Meeting these requirements does not guarantee enrollment or assistance. Households must also complete a prevention assessment and be selected through the program’s referral and research process.

AVLF is gradually increasing its intake capacity during the program’s initial launch.
