RCIL BOARD Elections
Each year, we welcome fresh perspectives to our leadership team through elections. What matters most is a love for Reynoldstown and a commitment to serve. Board members should value community engagement, focus on resident needs, and bring positivity and critical thinking to complex discussions. Together, we build a collaborative, thoughtful team for our community’s success.
Board Member Commitment
RCIL’s Volunteer Board of Directors is composed of elected Reynoldstown neighbors who are passionate about our community and dedicated to advancing RCIL’s mission and vision. Board members help guide committees, build partnerships, and strengthen the connections that make Reynoldstown such a special place to live.
Meetings & Participation
The Board meets monthly—typically on the Tuesday before the community meeting—to review neighborhood activities and initiatives from the past 30 days.
Discussions include committee updates, neighborhood events, local projects, and topics from upcoming NPU-N meetings when available.
Board members are expected to attend at least eight (8) Board meetings and eight (8) community meetings per calendar year.
Committee Involvement
Active participation in committees and neighborhood projects is a key part of board service. Members may contribute by:
Chairing a committee or leading a project
Serving as a liaison between the Board and committees
Supporting committees as a member or chairperson
After election, the President will meet with new members to align their interests with current committees and initiatives.
