Thanksgiving Basket Drive
Join Us for Reynoldstown’s 21st Annual Thanksgiving Baskets INitiative
Join Us for the 2026 Thanksgiving Basket Drive
This year marks our 21st annual celebration of community, care and gratitude at the Thanksgiving Basket Drive. We are proud to carry forward a tradition of gathering neighbors, supporters and volunteers to ensure every family in Reynoldstown can enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving meal.
What It Is
The Thanksgiving Basket Drive is more than just distributing groceries—it’s about connection, giving and belonging.
Each participating family receives a full meal basket containing a turkey and traditional Thanksgiving-sides, ensuring they can sit down to a generous holiday meal.
The event takes place at Lang‑Carson Park (10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026).
It’s a communal day: volunteers come together to assemble the meal-baskets, deliver them to families, and uplift our neighborhood by working side by side.
In 2025, we supported more than 100 families thanks to countless volunterers, local businesses and our dedicated Thanksgiving Baskets Committee.
How to HELP
We welcome individuals, families, groups and local businesses to join in. Here’s how you can participate:
Show up to Upper Lang-Carson Park at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, to help pack and deliver baskets.
Sign up to help outside of the event—reach out to legacy neighbors, shop for supplies, set up for Saturday morning or pick up turkeys.
Donate to purchase turkeys and other Thanksgiving meal items - $70 covers a meal for one family!

This event is not only a lot of fun, but it's also a fantastic opportunity to meet your neighbors, strengthen community connections, and support fellow Reynoldstown families during the holiday season!
