Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown
Transportation Committee
The Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown Transportation Committee (CRTC) jointly serves our two neighborhoods; we seek to advocate for improvements in the quality of life for all of our residents through greater Mobility, Safety, and Equity of Access. Our work includes imagining and planning (and in some cases executing) projects for our neighborhoods, with an emphasis on “tactical urbanism.”
All are welcomed to join our team—we meet on the first Thursday of the month (a combination of in-person and virtual sessions). Our current committee chair is Matt Padula (matt.padula@gmail.com).
Please reach out to Matt for more info, or to get involved!

Flat Shoals, Arkwright, Walthall & Howell Intersection Improvements
The City of Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT), in collaboration with District 5 Councilmember Liliana Bakhtiari, recently hosted a community engagement session to discuss the SPOKE Intersection Improvement Project. This initiative focuses on safety, accessibility, and design enhancements at the intersection of Flat Shoals, Arkwright, Walthall, and Howell.
Community members were invited to explore the proposed timeline, review improvement options, learn about potential impacts, and share feedback with the project team.
