Boxcar Sports

Boxcar Tee-Ball registration is open for Spring 2026.

Boxcar Sports was created by a small group of Reynoldstown parents, first with Boxcar FC in 2021 and then Boxcar Tee-Ball in 2023. We are more than a low-fuss sports league for little Atlantans. Boxcar Sports is a community-led effort in the heart of Reynoldstown, designed to bring young children, caregivers, and neighbors together to foster connections and a sense of belonging.

Boxcar Tee-Ball

Boxcar Tee-Ball is a fun, low-key, volunteer-driven sports experience in Reynoldstown for little ones and their families. All children ages 3-6 are welcome, though play days will be designed especially for young tee-ballers ages 4-5.

The Spring 2026 season will last for (6) weeks from March 22nd – April 26th on Sunday mornings at Lang-Carson Park.

Registration will close in early March, so sign up now!

 Season: Sundays, March 22nd – April 26th, 2026 

Time: 9:30–10:30 AM

 Location: the field in Lang-Carson Park; Reynoldstown, Atlanta 

Cost: $45 per child (covers t-shirts and shared equipment). Bring your own helmet and glove. Pro tip: label your stuff.

VOlunteer NEeds for 2026 Season

General Manager(s)! Can you commit to leading communication with families before and during the season? Are you available from 9am-11am to take turns with other GMs to unlock/lock up the Lang Carson Community Center for restroom access and equipment storage? Boxcar Sports can’t happen without new GMs in 2026!

Coaches! We want you! We need you! We need a couple high-skill coaches for working with players at the tee, and no major skills needed for the other coaches. Players will do full-group warm ups, small groups for drills, and two teams for games.

Ground Rules 

Rain? No big deal. We'll just cancel practice.
 Come when you can. No need to notify anyone if you miss a play day.
 Fun first! This should be an enjoyable experience for both kids and parents.

Boxcar FC

Boxcar FC is where our littlest athletes (ages 2-5) come to learn & play soccer while having fun with family and friends. The Fall 2026 season will last for (6) weeks from early October to early November on Sunday mornings at Lang-Carson Park in Reynoldstown.

Registration will open in late summer 2026. Coaches and team managers are needed to execute the Fall 2026 season.
